PlumbingLeaks, drains, repipes & water heaters
Our plumbing diagnostic is $89 for leak locating and it is credited in full toward any repair you approve, so on completed work the diagnosis is effectively free. Typical repairs run $180-$420, fixture or toilet installs $280-$950, and burst-pipe repairs $280-$850. Every number is a flat rate approved in writing before we start - never an open-ended hourly meter.

Yes, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, anywhere in Metro Vancouver or the Fraser Valley. After-hours emergencies carry one flat $150 premium that we state upfront before dispatching - never an hourly overtime rate. Our average emergency response across the region is about 45 minutes, and no-heat and flooding calls are prioritized first.
Yes - galvanized-to-PEX repipes are one of our core jobs. We use Uponor PEX-A with expanded fittings, reroute through finished spaces with minimal cutting, patch and clean up behind ourselves, and back the whole job with the same 2-year written workmanship warranty as everything else we touch. A typical single-floor kitchen or bathroom repipe is a 1-2 day job; whole-home repipes are quoted flat-rate after a free on-site assessment.
Sudden pressure loss usually means a failing pressure-reducing valve, a partially closed main shutoff, or a hidden leak - and hidden leaks are the one that costs money every hour you wait. Shut the main water valve, check for obvious wet spots or bulging drywall, and call us. The $89 diagnostic includes a full leak and pressure inspection, and like all our diagnostics it is credited toward the repair.
Both. Hot water tanks run $1,400-$2,600 installed and tankless units $2,500-$4,500, depending on the model and gas-line work required. We size honestly: tankless is fantastic for space and endless hot water, but a good tank is sometimes the smarter buy for a smaller household. You get both options priced side by side before you decide.
Heating & FurnacesRepairs, tune-ups & replacements
The no-heat diagnostic is $89-$129 and is credited toward the repair. Once diagnosed, typical furnace repairs run $180-$650 flat-rate - igniters, flame sensors, blower motors, control boards - all quoted in writing before we touch a screw. There are no overtime rates on the 24/7 line, just the flat $150 after-hours premium if your emergency lands nights or weekends.

The honest rule of thumb: when a repair quote passes roughly half the cost of a new unit, or when the furnace is past 15-20 years and needs a significant part. New high-efficiency furnaces installed run $3,900-$7,500 including permits, removal and disposal. If your heat exchanger is cracked, replacement is the only safe answer - we will show you the crack ourselves and never sell a replacement on a hunch.
We service all major brands - Carrier, Lennox, Trane, Goodman, Rheem, Daikin and more - and our technicians are factory-trained on the lines we install. Every heating tech is a BC-licensed gas fitter; every job is done by our own WCB-covered employees, never subcontractors.
Once a year, ideally before heating season. Our $129 tune-up ($189 deep-clean version) includes a full 25-point inspection with combustion analysis and carbon-monoxide testing, burner cleaning, filter check and a written report with photos. Beyond safety, annual documented maintenance is what keeps your manufacturer parts warranty enforceable - skipping it can void a claim exactly when you need it.
Tier-by-tier details are on the maintenance plans page.
Yes. Every heating technician holds a BC gas fitter licence, our refrigeration mechanics are TQ-certified, and our plumbers are Red Seal. The company is licensed, bonded and carries $2 million liability coverage. You are welcome to ask any technician for credentials at the door - we expect it.
Cooling & ACInstallations, repairs & tune-ups
A new central AC system installed runs $3,800-$6,500 depending on capacity and efficiency tier, and that price includes the permit, concrete pad, line-set and disposal of the old unit. Every install starts with a proper load calculation for your home - not a guess - and all installed systems carry a 10-year parts warranty.

More every year. Since the 2021 heat dome, summer highs in the 30s have become routine, and bedrooms above grade turn into ovens by July. If you are deciding between AC and a heat pump, the heat pump usually wins in BC: it cools just as well in summer, heats for a fraction of baseboard cost in winter, and qualifies for CleanBC rebates that a cooling-only AC does not.
See the heat pump & rebate guide for the program-by-program breakdown.
A straightforward central system is a one-day job in almost every home. Ductless mini-splits are typically half a day per zone. We confirm the timeline in your written quote, and the house is left clean - old equipment hauled away, not left on the curb.
The $129 flat spring tune-up covers coil cleaning, refrigerant charge verification, capacitor and contactor testing, condensate drain flush and a written report. It restores lost efficiency, catches the parts that fail in the first July heat wave, and keeps your warranty documentation current.

Heat Pumps & RebatesCleanBC, FortisBC & municipal programs
Eligible Vancouver-area homeowners can receive up to $16,000 in combined support: the $9,400 base CleanBC Better Homes rebate for switching off a fossil-fuel heating system, a $5,000 income-tested top-up for households under $165,000, and municipal top-ups from cities like Vancouver, North Vancouver and New Westminster. We complete all the paperwork and the required pre- and post-install energy assessments at no charge.
See the heat pump & rebate guide for the program-by-program breakdown.
Cold-climate ducted systems run $6,500-$14,000 installed before rebates; ductless mini-splits run $3,800-$5,500. Your final number depends on home size, ductwork condition and the outdoor unit we right-size for your coldest expected day. Every quote is flat-rate, in writing, and shows the rebate math line by line.

Yes - the models we install (Mitsubishi Zuba, Daikin AURORA, Lennox XP25) extract heat from outdoor air down to -25C and beyond. Metro Vancouver's coldest recorded temperature is -17.8C, so a properly sized cold-climate heat pump covers our winters without backup heat. We size every system with an ACCA Manual J calculation for your home, not a square-footage guess.
They can. FortisBC and BC Hydro programs stack with CleanBC on eligible equipment in their service territories, and municipal top-ups stack on top of those. Program budgets and amounts change through the year, which is why we verify every number at booking and handle every application ourselves - you should never have to chase a rebate cheque alone.
See the heat pump & rebate guide for the program-by-program breakdown.
CleanBC typically processes rebates in 8-12 weeks, and income-tested top-ups can take 4-6 weeks longer. We submit all paperwork electronically the day after install and our rebate coordinator follows up on your behalf - most homeowners see the full rebate within about three months of the installation date.

Warranties & EmergencyCoverage, guarantees & urgent help
Every job - from a $180 faucet repair to a $14,000 heat pump - carries our 2-year written workmanship warranty, spelled out before we start. Installed equipment adds the manufacturer coverage, including 10-year parts warranties on the systems we install. Warranty claims are handled by us directly, not bounced to an 800 number.
For flooding: shut the main water valve (usually near the front foundation wall or water meter) and open the lowest faucet in the house to drain pressure. For a no-heat call in winter: keep the thermostat fan set to ON so air keeps circulating past the heat exchanger. For gas smells: leave the house first, then call FortisBC's emergency line at 1-800-663-9911 and us once you are safe outside.
Active flooding or burst pipes, sewage backing up into the home, a total loss of heat in freezing weather, and any gas smell. Those we want called immediately, any hour. A dripping faucet or a slow drain can wait for morning booking - we will tell you honestly which is which when you call.
Yes - licensed, bonded and $2 million in liability coverage, with all technicians covered by WorkSafeBC. Certificates are available on request before any job, which many strata councils and property managers ask for as a matter of course.
Three flat-rate tiers: Essential at $199 per year (one tune-up, 10% off repairs), Comfort at $299 (heating plus cooling visits, 15% off, priority emergency dispatch) and Total Home at $449 (adds plumbing and water-heater care and waives the $150 after-hours premium). All tiers are cancellable any time with no lock-in.
